Learning to be Good

Victor Saenz, Ph.D., Executive Director, The Houston Institute

Why does it matter if we have a good character?
What does “character” even mean?
Are most of us good people? Bad people? Or something in-between?
Most importantly: What can we do to try to become better?

Join us to tackle these and other important questions in a study of Christian Miller’s The Character Gap (2018). No background in philosophy required. Dinner and readings provided.

Undergraduates and graduate students welcome.

Meets Tuesdays, 6:15pm-7:30pm

Dates: 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/16
