Daniel J. Mahoney holds the Augustine Chair in Distinguished Scholarship at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. He is the author or editor of twelve books and of over 150 articles, essays, and reviews. His latest book on Solzhenitsyn is The Other Solzhenitsyn: Telling the Truth about a Misunderstood Writer and Thinker (St. Augustine’s Press, 2014). He is the author, most recently, of The Idol of Our Age: How the Religion of Humanity Subverts Christianity (Encounter books, 2018, March 2020 for the paperback).
